Hi Everyone,

Here with another roundup of small-but-mighty updates to Shopdesk POS! We know that sometimes, it’s the tiniest steps in your daily workflow that feel like the biggest difference in a smoothly run day. That’s why our engineering team is working behind the scenes to resolve most common bugs and instate popular requests that surprise-and-delight or simply help you get your work done easier – one ticket at a time.

Please find below our updates for July 2024:

1. GPS Coordination

This new feature captures GPS coordinates from the device every time an invoice is punched. These coordinates are displayed on the generated invoice and reprint, added as a new column in the sales history, and included in the Sales Summary Report. This is a configuration-based setup at the brand level, and GPS coordinates will only be fetched and displayed if this configuration is enabled.

2. Optimized Invoicing

Special Characters Handling: Improved handling of special characters in invoicing, especially in customer names.

Customer Balance Enhancement: Enhanced the handling and display of customer balances.
