Hi Everyone,

Here with another roundup of small-but-mighty updates to Shopdesk POS! We know that sometimes, it’s the tiniest steps in your daily workflow that feel like the biggest difference in a smoothly run day. That’s why our engineering team is working behind the scenes to resolve the most common bugs and instate popular requests that surprise and delight or simply help you get your work done easier – one ticket at a time.

Please find below our updates for August 2024:

1. Customer Name & Support for Numbers + Special Characters 🚀

To better accommodate a diverse range of customer names, we have increased the character limit for customer names in our system. Additionally, the input field now supports numbers and special characters, ensuring that all customer names are recorded accurately and without limitations.

2. Inventory Dump - Additional Columns 🚀

You said it, we heard it, & then we delivered. The Inventory Dump Report is now more handy than ever, by adding new columns we have ensured maximum clarity is provided in this report.

This update allows for more comprehensive reporting and better inventory management, giving users a clearer view of their stock and its related data.

The Inventory dump report can be pulled based on 1 single day & 1 location at a time.

3. Foldable Barcodes Based on Invoice Size 🚀

To further cater to all sorts of different barcode requirements for different types of retail operations, we have optimized barcodes to be able to be printed in a foldable format as per your required Label size.

Retail operators who sell Jewelry & Watches can greatly benefit from this new template.

4. Sales History report optimization 🚀

The Sales History export is now fully optimized and can fetch data for as long as you have been Live, without a second thought. Sales history report can fetch data, based on invoice number, Customer phone number & Customer name (For now).

This will help you save a lot of time. Since time is money, we want to ensure we maximize and save as much as we can 😉 .
