Hi Everyone,

Here with another roundup of small-but-mighty updates to Shopdesk POS! We know that sometimes, it’s the tiniest steps in your daily workflow that feel like the biggest difference in a smoothly run day. That’s why our engineering team is working behind the scenes to resolve the most common bugs and instate popular requests that surprise and delight or simply help you get your work done easier – one ticket at a time.

Please find below our updates for October 2024:

1. Product Movement Report 🚀

The new Product Movement Report provides detailed tracking of all activities against each SKU. This comprehensive report includes:

• Sale Transactions

• Returns

• Purchase Orders (P.O)

• Stock Transfers (STR)

• Adjustments

Merchants can now gain full visibility into each SKU’s activity history, allowing for better inventory control and insights into stock movements.

2. Mobile UI/UX enhancements 🚀

 Shopdesk’s Sell Screen mobile interface has been significantly enhanced for a more responsive, optimized experience. Key improvements include:

• Refined layout adjustments for various screen sizes, making the POS interface more user-friendly on mobile devices.

• Improved touch-target accuracy and navigational ease for efficient, on-the-go usage.

• Visual enhancements for a cleaner look and feel, improving clarity and ease of access to essential functions on smaller screens.

These updates ensure that merchants can seamlessly manage their operations from mobile devices, regardless of screen size.

3. Urdu & Arabic translation 🚀

In response to user demand, we have introduced support for Urdu and Arabic languages in the Shopdesk Register Screen. This update includes:

• RTL (Right-to-Left) orientation for seamless language compatibility.

• A language switch configuration available in Outlet-level settings, allowing merchants to select their preferred language for the POS screen.
  
  

  

  

  

4. Update cost price through discount module 🚀

Merchants can now update the cost price of SKUs at the outlet level directly through the discount module. This enhancement includes:

• A bulk file upload feature with added columns for easy updates of retail, selling, and cost/purchase prices.

• Streamlined pricing adjustments, enabling merchants to maintain accurate cost and pricing data across outlets efficiently.
