We're back with powerful updates for August! This month, we’ve focused on giving you more control, more flexibility, and broader reach with your XPay experience. Whether you're growing your Shopify store, expanding payment options, or looking to optimize how you bill — these updates are built to help your business move faster and smarter.

1. Jazz Cash Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) Integration

We have integrated JazzCash’s Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) solution into XPay!

Merchants using JazzCash via XPay can now offer BNPL to their customers, helping improve conversion rates, increase average order value, and remove payment friction at checkout.

This integration gives your customers the flexibility to pay in easy installments through JazzCash, helping reduce purchase hesitation and making higher-value orders more accessible.

2. Multi-Gateway Support on XPay Shopify App

We’re excited to announce that the XPay Shopify App is now compatible with all supported payment gateways including HBL, Meezan Bank, MCB, PayFast, and others.

Previously, Shopify app was limited to merchants processing payments through Bank Alfalah. That meant businesses using other gateways couldn’t access the powerful Shopify integration, limiting how they could leverage XPay on their online stores.

With this update, we’ve removed that restriction. Now, any merchant using any of XPay’s supported gateways can seamlessly integrate XPay with their Shopify store and offer multiple payment options to their users. This makes it easier than ever to launch and scale your Shopify store with full payment flexibility, no matter which bank or provider you prefer.

3. Usage-Based Billing for Shopify App

XPay now offers usage-based billing through Shopify, giving you full control over how you pay for your transaction processing.

Here’s how it works:

• A fixed usage rate is configured directly from the XPay back office

• You’re billed directly through Shopify

• No need to pay gateway fees separately

This simplified approach means less complexity and better transparency in how you're charged while keeping your payments centralized in one place.

4. Support for Multiple XPay Apps on Shopify

You asked, we delivered! XPay now supports installing both the onsite and offsite apps on the same Shopify store. This means you can offer card payments through the onsite app, while also enabling wallet payments like Easypaisa and JazzCash via the offsite/redirection app - all within a single, unified store experience. Both apps are managed through the same XPay backend, so your reporting, transaction tracking, and settlement processes remain streamlined and centralized.

With this added flexibility, you’re no longer limited to one payment flow, you can mix and match methods to suit your business needs while offering your customers more choice and a smoother checkout journey.
