We are excited to share this month’s product updates, focused on enhancing merchant experience, strengthening platform reliability, and delivering seamless checkout journeys. These improvements are designed to give merchants better visibility, support, and control across their payment operations.

 

  1. Shopify On-site Wallet Payment App

This month, we successfully published our Shopify On-Site Wallet Payment App, allowing Shopify merchants to accept wallet payments directly on the Shopify checkout page.

With this enhancement, customers can complete wallet payments without being redirected to an external page, ensuring a faster and more consistent checkout experience fully aligned with Shopify’s native flow.

On-site wallet payments help reduce checkout friction, improve completion rates, and maintain customer confidence by keeping users within the Shopify environment throughout the transaction. Merchants can enable wallet payments through our Shopify app with minimal setup, while benefiting from a fully embedded and compliant payment experience.

This launch marks an important step in expanding XPay’s commerce platform integrations and supporting merchants in delivering modern, conversion-optimized checkout journeys.

  1. AI Chatbot for Merchant Support

We’re excited to introduce a brand-new AI-powered chatbot in the XPay merchant portal, designed to significantly improve how merchants integrate and get support during development.

The chatbot provides instant, self-service assistance for integration questions, setup guidance, and common troubleshooting, allowing merchants to get answers immediately without waiting for support team responses. This dramatically reduces integration friction and helps merchants move from integration to go-live faster.

This launch marks an important step in transforming merchant support into a more scalable, always-available experience. The chatbot is a new capability, and we’re actively enhancing its intelligence, coverage, and accuracy to resolve an increasing range of merchant queries over time.

As the chatbot continues to evolve, it will empower merchants to solve issues independently while enabling our support teams to focus on higher-value and complex cases resulting in faster resolutions and better overall merchant experience.

  1. Payment gateway performance alerts

To improve platform reliability and incident response, we have introduced payment gateway performance alerts.

With this enhancement, payment failures are continuously monitored at the gateway level. When failure rates exceed a defined threshold within a specific time period, automated email alerts are triggered to notify relevant teams.

This proactive monitoring helps quickly identify issues with any payment gateway, enabling faster investigation and corrective action before failures impact a large number of transactions. As a result, teams gain better visibility into gateway health and can maintain a more stable and reliable payment experience for merchants and customers.

We continue to enhance our payment platform with a strong focus on reliability, expanded payment capabilities, and seamless checkout experiences. More improvements are coming next month, and we look forward to your feedback as we keep raising the bar on payments.
