Release notes - XPay - May 2025
We’re thrilled to bring you the latest updates to XPay! This month, we’ve focused on enhancing your payment experience with the following improvements:
Easypaisa, Jazzcash & Paypak integration with React native SDK
We have integrated three major payment gateways — Easypaisa, JazzCash, and PayPak — into our React Native SDK. This enhancement allows mobile app developers to easily incorporate these widely used payment methods, ensuring a smooth and secure payment experience for end-users across multiple platforms.
Here is the document link for React Native SDK.

To provide greater flexibility in handling multi-currency transactions, we have introduced a new feature that enables merchants to define custom exchange rate rules as part of their payment routing configurations. This enhancement allows merchants to:
Set rules based on multiple conditions such as order currency and user location.
Specify a base currency (order currency) and a payment currency (the currency charged to the user).
Apply a custom exchange rate between the base and payment currencies.
As a result, users are charged in the specified payment currency, with the amount calculated according to the defined exchange rate.

For example if a merchant configures a rule where if the order currency is PKR and the user’s location is outside Pakistan, the user is charged in USD at an exchange rate of 280 PKR = 1 USD.
This feature offers enhanced flexibility for managing international transactions and currency conversions.
Ability to disable Gateway from XAP & backend
Merchants no longer need to delete a payment gateway to stop using it. Instead, they can now simply disable the gateway through the XAP interface or backend controls. This provides a quick and convenient way to temporarily deactivate payment methods without losing any configuration or data, offering greater flexibility and control over the available payment options.

Default XPay Credentials for JazzCash Gateway
To simplify onboarding process, merchants who want to use the JazzCash payment gateway but do not have their own JazzCash account can now utilize default XPay credentials provided by our platform. This enables quick integration and allows merchants to start accepting JazzCash payments without the need to set up a separate account, reducing setup complexity and accelerating time to market.

We remain committed to enhancing our platform and delivering a seamless payment experience. Please continue to share your feedback and suggestions.
