We’re thrilled to announce the latest updates for the XPay, designed to enhance your payment processing capabilities and user experience. In this month’s release, we’re introducing two major improvements: enhanced API functionality that allows for separate authorization and capture of transactions, and significant UI/UI enhancements to our admin portal. These updates reflect our ongoing commitment to providing you with powerful, flexible tools and a seamless user experience.

Separate Authorization and Capture flow

We’re excited to introduce an important update to our XPay Payment APIs! In response to feedback and evolving business needs, our APIs now support performing separate authorization and capturing a full or partial amount. This new functionality allows for greater flexibility in handling transactions, making it easier to meet diverse e-commerce and business requirements.

Authorize and capture payments at different times, providing better control over the payment process.
Capture the exact amount needed, whether it's the full authorized amount or a partial amount, to accommodate various business scenarios.

How does It Work?

Authorization: To initiate a separate authorization, use the PI API with the "capture_method": "manual" parameter. This action will authorize the payment but will not immediately capture the funds.

Capture: Once the payment is authorized, you can later call the Capture Amount API to capture the funds either fully or partially as needed.
