Checking SKU availability helps ensure orders are assigned only to locations with the required stock. This prevents delays, incomplete fulfillment, backorders, and processing errors.
Steps to Check SKU Availability
-
Open the order for which you want to check SKU availability.
-
Select the location you want to assign the order to.
-
In the bottom-left corner, click Check SKU Availability.
-
Review the SKU availability indicators before assigning the order.
Understanding the Availability Indicators
-
Green SKU → The SKU is available at the selected location.
-
Red SKU → The SKU is not available at the selected location.
Assign orders only to locations where all SKUs are available (all green). If any SKU is unavailable, the order cannot be processed at that location.
Assigning Orders
-
Once all SKUs are confirmed as available, assign the order to the selected location.
-
This helps ensure smooth fulfillment and avoids backorders or processing errors.
