Release Notes – OMS – August 2026

Welcome to the August 2026 edition of XStak’s OMS Release Notes. This release focuses on supporting more complex order types, tightening order assignment and duplicate-order controls, improving address verification, and speeding up reporting.

1. Custom Stitching Orders from Shopify

OMS now supports made-to-measure orders placed through Shopify.

Enhancement Details:

• Custom size measurements captured at Shopify checkout are read from the order and stored against the matching line item

• Measurements are displayed in the Order Details drawer

• Orders containing custom sizes are automatically tagged Custom Size so they can be found and filtered in the order pool

• Measurements are included in the Detailed Order PDF export

Key Benefits:

• No manual re-keying of customer measurements

• Production and packing teams see the full specification on the order slip

• Custom orders are easy to separate from standard stock orders

2. PostEx Courier in the Exchange Module

PostEx is now available as a courier for exchange shipments.

Enhancement Details:

• Select PostEx when booking an exchange order

• AWB and label generation for exchange shipments

• Tracking and status updates synchronised back to OMS

Key Benefits:

• Exchanges and forward orders can run on the same courier

• Fewer manual booking steps for exchange orders

3. Order Assignment Rules for Marketplace Brands

Assignment rules now validate every order before it is assigned to a location.

Enhancement Details:

• Brand, product and location are checked before assignment

• Orders that fail validation are blocked rather than assigned to the wrong location

• Blocked assignments are logged with a clear reason

Key Benefits:

• Prevents orders landing at locations that cannot fulfil them

• Clear audit trail for blocked assignments

4. Duplicate Order Rules – Instant Activation

Duplicate Order Rules now take effect the moment they are enabled.

Enhancement Details:

• Enabling the rules from the OMS interface is all that is required

• Removed the separate backend configuration that previously had to be applied by the engineering team

Key Benefits:

• Duplicate detection starts immediately, with no support request

• Consistent, predictable behaviour for every brand

5. Address Verification via WhatsApp

Address verification messages are now sent through the PostEx WhatsApp account using an approved template.

Enhancement Details:

• Message includes the customer’s name, your brand name, order number and the address on file

• Update Address button opens the address correction page

• Address is Correct quick reply confirms in one tap

Key Benefits:

• Faster address confirmation before booking

6. Faster Dashboards and Data Dump Reports

Dashboards and data dump reports have moved to a new, faster reporting engine.

Enhancement Details:

• All dashboards and data dump reports now run on the upgraded reporting API

• Existing filters, parameters and report layouts are unchanged

Key Benefits:

• Quicker report generation on large order volumes

• Same reports, no retraining needed

7. Excel Export for Query Results

Report query results can now be downloaded as an Excel file.

Enhancement Details:

• Download Excel button on the results view

• Exports every displayed record with column headers preserved

• Handles large result sets

Key Benefits:

• Share and analyse report data outside OMS without copy-pasting

8. Automatic PIM & Inventory V2 Onboarding

New brands are now set up on PIM and Inventory V2 as part of standard onboarding.

Enhancement Details:

• The onboarding flow creates the brand across OMS, PIM and Inventory V2 in one process

• No gaps between systems for new brands

• Product and inventory features available from day one
