Products & Discounts
In this chapter of the manual, we are going to go over all the functions of the products module, some of these include, adding product attribute sets, custom dropdowns for those sets, adding a product individually, adding products in bulk & the product look-up module.
In the second part of this chapter, we are going to go over the discount module of XStak’s POS.
Part 1
a) Custom dropdowns (Attributes):
Shopdesk can let its users create their custom attributes, their custom attributes are then assigned to one or multiple Attribute sets, (see point b below).
Based on these attribute sets we can then create our products.
We will now illustrate how these custom drop-downs are made below via screenshots.
b) Attribute Sets:
These are sets that consist of the custom “Attribute” Values we have made in part above
c) Adding a product (Individually):
We have to fill out all the mandatory fields in the screenshots illustrated below
d) Adding a product (Bulk):
Essentially, All the data we have just filled out in point c above is filled out in a CSV format and uploaded.
e) Product look-up:
Product lookup is used to see how much of a product inventory exists across all the locations under your

In our discount module, you can edit the selling price & retail price of a product as well as give discounts by editing the prices or giving a % off.
This can be done one by one for products individually or via a bulk CSV upload.
