Q1. Why did the customer’s transaction fail with the message:

"Sorry! The requested operation cannot be processed at the moment due to some technical difficulties"?

Ans: This error is often linked to the cardholder's bank declining the transaction due to incomplete or unsuccessful authentication during the 3D Secure verification step. The bank requires the cardholder to verify their identity using methods like an OTP, password, or biometric authentication.

If the verification is not completed successfully, the bank declines the transaction, resulting in this error message.

Additionally, the message may appear due to temporary technical issues, such as:

  • Server or network disruptions.

  • Connectivity issues between the payment processor and the bank.
