Release Notes - August 2024

We’ve Added More Control Over Your Product Images!

At Feedofy, we're constantly working to improve your experience and help you get the most out of your product feeds. This August, we’ve introduced a new feature that gives you greater flexibility in how your products are presented across different platforms.

New Feature: Image Index Selection for Product Feeds
Previously, when creating a product feed from Shopify, the parent image was automatically selected by default. With our latest update, you now can choose the specific image index for your product feed. This means you can pick the image that best represents your product for each platform, leading to more effective and customized presentations.

Why This Matters:

Better Representation of Your Products:

  • Contextual Images: The default parent image might not always be the most engaging. Now, you can select images that show your product in use, with accessories, or in a more appealing context. For example, a shirt displayed on a model may attract more customers than a simple folded view.

  • Detailed Views: Highlight the unique features and quality of your products by choosing images that focus on specific details, like fabric texture or craftsmanship, which might not be as visible in the main image.

Campaign-Specific Imagery:

  • Tailored Promotions: Run targeted campaigns with images that align perfectly with your promotional themes. Whether it’s a seasonal sale or a holiday-themed promotion, selecting the right image can make all the difference.

  • Audience Preferences: Different platforms attract different audiences. Customize your product images to suit the preferences of users on Google, Facebook, or Instagram, leading to better engagement and higher conversions.

Testing and Optimization:

  • A/B Testing: Experiment with different images to find out which one drives the most clicks and conversions. By choosing different image indexes, you can test and optimize your product visuals for maximum impact across all platforms.
