Release Notes - April 2025

We’re excited to roll out new features that help you gather richer customer data directly at checkout. This will enable better segmentation, smarter marketing, and more personalized experiences.

🔄 What’s New

🧓 Age Dropdown

Merchants can now add an Age Dropdown to their Shopify Checkout page.

  • Define custom age ranges (e.g., 18-24, 25-34) via the app.

  • Collect age data without disrupting the checkout experience

  • Supports use cases like customer segmentation, targeted campaigns, and demographic insights

⚧ Gender Dropdown

We’ve also introduced a Gender Dropdown for checkout.

  • Add gender field as a custom dropdown

  • Customize values (e.g., Male, Female, Non-binary, Prefer not to say)

  • Use gender insights to tailor communication and product recommendations

Both dropdowns are fully customizable, non-intrusive, and designed to help you better understand your customers — without sacrificing conversion speed.

  • Optimized theme extension rendering for faster block loading on Shopify Plus stores
