Release Notes - OE - September 2024
Welcome to the XStak’s September 2024 Release Notes! We're excited to share with you the latest updates and enhancements to our product and services. This comprehensive overview will provide you with valuable insights into the new features and improvements we've implemented over the past month.
1. Real-Time Inventory Sync (Multiple Sales Channel and Location Assignment)
We have introduced advanced rules for managing inventory synchronization across multiple sales channels and clusters:
Sales Channel Assignment Rules:
Real-Time Inventory Sync is automatically enabled for clusters that contain multiple sales channels.
Inventory Uploads: When inventory is uploaded to the system, the resultant final stock (out final) is automatically sent to all sales channels within the cluster.
Order Creation and Cancellation: Upon the creation of an order from any sales channel, the inventory is deducted not only for the originating sales channel but also for all other channels within the cluster. Similarly, in the case of order cancellation that involves restocking, the inventory is adjusted across all sales channels to ensure seamless synchronization.
Location Assignment Rules:
A location can be assigned to more than one cluster, enabling real-time inventory synchronization across clusters.
Shared Locations: When a location is shared between multiple clusters, any inventory job (such as updates or adjustments) executed for that location will propagate to all clusters that include the location. This ensures that inventory levels are accurately reflected across all sales channels associated with those clusters.
Inventory Discrepancies: Due to the possibility that some clusters have additional locations unique to them, the out final inventory figures generated for different clusters sharing the same location may not match.
Safeguards for Inventory Management:
To ensure inventory integrity, we've implemented a safeguard during inventory adjustments, particularly in scenarios where orders are placed. The system ensures that inventory will never drop below 0 for any sales channel, even in cases of shared locations across clusters.
These rules provide robust support for real-time, multi-channel inventory management, helping to prevent overselling, ensure better stock accuracy, and streamline operations across shared locations and clusters.
2. Courier Integrations
Our Order Management System has expanded its capabilities by integrating with three additional courier services, enhancing the flexibility and efficiency of order fulfillment:
Do Deliver
Dayer Logistics
Lyve Courier
These integrations enable real-time tracking updates, barcode generation, and streamlined order processing, providing better visibility and faster deliveries to your customers. With these additions, users can now manage a wider range of shipping options, improving order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
3. Loadsheet Report
Merchants now have the ability to download a loadsheet report directly from our Order Management System (OMS). This loadsheet provides a comprehensive overview of orders, including key details such as Order ID, Destination City, CN#, Order Weight and COD Amount. This feature streamlines the order management process, making it easier for merchants to track and manage their outgoing shipments efficiently.
