It ensures accurate, real-time inventory updates while supporting different operational flows depending on how the merchant manages stock.
Key Objectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product quantities and pricing.
Ensure real-time synchronization between POS, OMS, and sales channels.
Optimize inventory distribution across warehouses, stores, and clusters.
Provide full visibility and control over stock levels and locations.
Submodules Overview
Submodule | Purpose | Brief Explanation |
|---|---|---|
Price & Quantity Update | Stock Management | Allows you to update prices and stock quantities for each city or location, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory levels across all locations. |
SKU Mapping | Barcode Verification | Used by brands whose barcodes come from Technosis. Helps verify which barcode belongs to which SKU. You can check data by SKU or barcode and also update/match barcodes by uploading a file. |
POS Sync | POS Data Synchronization | Syncs your inventory with the POS system to reflect real-time stock movement. You can enable POS sync from the toggle and confirm the action by typing “enable.” |
Sync Sales Channel | Channel Sync Control | Allows enabling or disabling inventory synchronization with specific sales channels. Helps maintain control over when inventory is pushed to external platforms. |

OMS – Inventory Flow
🔄 How Inventory Works in OMS
OMS Without POS Integration
Inventory is updated directly in OMS.
OMS pushes updated stock and pricing to Shopify and other sales channels.
OMS acts as the single source of truth for inventory and pricing.
OMS with POS Integration
Inventory is updated in the POS system.
Stock automatically syncs to OMS.
OMS then syncs the updated inventory to Shopify and other connected sales channels.
This ensures real-time stock accuracy across all platforms.
