Inventory Management Module
The Inventory Management Module in the OMS is designed to efficiently handle all aspects of stock management, including product quantities, pricing, point-of-sale synchronization, and warehouse/store clustering. It ensures real-time inventory accuracy, reduces operational errors, and supports decision-making across multiple locations.
Key Objectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date product quantity and pricing.
Ensure real-time synchronization between OMS and POS systems.
Optimize inventory distribution across warehouses, stores, and clusters.
Provide clear visibility and control over stock levels, pricing, and locations.
Submodule | Purpose | Brief Explanation |
|---|---|---|
Price & Quantity Update | Stock Management | Allows you to update prices and stock quantities for each city or location, ensuring accurate and up-to-date inventory levels across all regions. |
SKU Mapping | Barcode Verification | Used by brands whose barcodes come from Technosis. Helps verify which barcode belongs to which SKU. You can check data by SKU or barcode, and also update/match barcodes by uploading a file. |
POS Sync | POS Data Synchronization | Syncs your inventory with the POS system to reflect real-time stock movement. You can Enable POS sync from the toggle and confirm the action by typing “enable.” |
Sync Sales Channel | Channel Sync Control | Allows enabling or disabling inventory synchronization with specific sales channels. Helps maintain control over when inventory is pushed out to external platforms. |
Cluster Management | Warehouse / Store Optimization | Groups multiple locations into clusters. Inventory is then calculated based on cluster-level stock instead of all locations, improving distribution and channel-specific stock control. |
