Custom Booking Rules
This module helps us to configure rules on basis of 5 different metrics, which are
Location
Location with Destination
Payment Method
Payment Method with Destination
Shipping Method.
Location, Payment Method, and Shipping Method rules work same as the Region and City booking rules, i.e. if an order is assigned to a certain Location it will be booked on so and so courier, if an order has xyz Payment Method it will be booked on so and so courier, if an order has 123 Shipping Method it will be booked on so and so courier
Payment Method with Destination and Location with Destination works with 2 dependencies. For Example, If an order has a xyz Payment Method AND its Destination City is abc, ONLY THEN it will be booked on 123 courier. Similarly, if an order is assigned to xyz Location AND its Destination City is abc, ONLY THEN it will be booked on 456 courier.
Custom Booking Rules has higher precedence than City Booking Rules and Region Booking Rules
City Booking Rules:
These rules helps us to define that which courier would be assigned to what city automatically.
Configure Courier button displays a field to select the Courier from the integrated Couriers list, and displays the names of all the Cities with a checkbox against them. Checking/Unchecking that checkbox add/removes the City from the Courier fulfillment rule.
One City can only be assigned to one courier. OE forbids to allocate one City to more than one courier
Region Booking Rules:
These rules help us to define that which courier would be assigned to what international region/country automatically
Configure Courier button displays a field to select the Courier from the integrated Couriers list, and displays the names of all the countries and regions of the world with a checkbox against them. Checking/Unchecking that checkbox add/removes the Region/Country from the Courier fulfillment rule.
One region can only be assigned to one courier. OE forbids to allocate one region/country to more than one courier.
